AMP-3, LLC Celebrates 15 Years MARCH PREPAREDNESS SKILL COMMS Follow-up
Each month the AMP-3 Preparedness blog will focus on a specific preparedness skill or concept to help you with your personal preparedness. In my last blog post we discussed the importance of a small pocket-sized first aid kit and reviewed a suggested contents list you might consider. In the preceding blog post we discussed your primary layer of preparedness: items that are on your person every day, in other words your EDC or everyday carry. For me that is a reliable watch, a pocket light, a pocketknife, a sturdy belt, and a minimalist RFID wallet. That primary layer of preparedness helps keep you out of trouble and makes everyday tasks just a bit easier and safer. Hopefully you are getting the concept of overlapping layers of preparedness which provides a degree of redundancy that only serves to strengthen your preparedness.
